Atreya

I want to help my mentees successfully execute their impact projects, but most importantly, feel satisfied about what they have done. I will support my mentee right across the course of their project, from brainstorming ideas to contacting individuals to expanding its reach. I also hope to create a calm and safe environment for my mentee to have as little stress or anxiety as possible and explain any struggles that they might have to me.

I'm a strong listener and can help mentees brainstorm unique ideas, along with providing them with motivation and encouragement throughout their impact project. I also try to instill a sense of appreciation in my mentees about the process behind their impact project, rather than the end result. In this way, I hope to eliminate any stress that the mentee feels about their project, and rather try to help them celebrate the small wins over the course of their project. Moreover, I have experience teaching and working with students across elementary, middle, and high schools, and this experience will hopefully translate to the GIC.

I like to play and watch soccer, and watch just about any sport in my free time. I also like to listen to music, travel, and spend time with friends and family.
