FROM VISION TO IMPACT

The Global Impact Conference is a semi-annual event that spotlights the remarkable achievements of students in their impact projects. This platform not only celebrates their successes but also encourages other young individuals to start their own journeys of making a positive difference in the world. Through inspirational presentations and collaborative networking, the conference empowers students to become the change-makers of tomorrow, inspiring a new generation of global leaders and innovators.

El Camino Al Logro 

ANGEL GOMEZ

Angel's "El Camino Al Logro Impact Project" strives to encourage students of latin descent to become more academically inclined and involved within their community. He created his project to attack the problem of inequality within the workplace at its roots; adolescent education. He introduces his students to the benefits of academically challenging oneself, learning how to be a leader, and how to achieve self actualization. With his project, he hopes to exponentially increase the amount of latin workers within the medical field, politics, and other high status professions.

GIRLS IN STEM 

CLAIRE KIM

Claire created a Girls in STEM program for middle school girls and has run a series of both in-person and virtual events.  Through this, she hopes to create an encouraging and supportive community of girls in STEM and highlight the diversity within STEM.

AI for the Future: How to Use AI to Make a Positive Impact 

PAVLO DESINOV

Pavlo's impact project revolves around the world of artificial intelligence. He started off by writing a book called “AI in Learning and Work” about how students can use AI to promote learning and the effects of artificial intelligence on the future workforce. Using the knowledge he gained from researching artificial intelligence, he decided to expand his impact on his community here in Kathmandu, Nepal. Pavlo learned how to build chatbots and AI automation, and he took this skill and found a travel agency that would benefit from AI integration, specifically building a social media marketing plan and generating content for the agency's Instagram page. His future plan is to transition into software that helps students learn more efficiently through the use of artificial intelligence, and he's using the current AI integration services as a stepping stone toward that bigger goal.
